Settings

Settings holds the choices that change how Tented prices, measures and shows your trades: the clock, the theme, how P&L counts commissions, how option time and volatility are modeled, the broker connection, your accounts, backups, sync and updates. It is one window with eight sections in a list on the left.

Open it from the title bar: gear → Settings, or ⌘, (Ctrl, on Windows). Clicking the connection chip opens it on Connection. In the section list, ↑ and ↓ move between sections, Home and End jump to the first and last.

General, Appearance, Trading, Backups and Sync apply as you change them. Connection has its own Connect or Reconnect button, and Accounts has Save.

  • General: launch connection, time zone, clock, notifications, setup wizard.
  • Appearance: theme, color palette, density, reset layout.
  • Trading: plan margin, commissions in P&L, risk-free rate, option time, vol model.
  • Connection: market data source, host, port, client ID, line allowance.
