An open trade's P&L is a dash or has an age beside it

You see: in the Journal’s P&L column an open trade shows a dash, or a number with an age in front.

Why: the Journal adds no market data of its own. It shows the value the Trades view currently has for the trade. A dash means the trade has no value yet (no quotes yet); an age means the value is stale, for example because Tented is disconnected.

What to do: connect to IB and wait for quotes (Connect to Interactive Brokers).

See Find a trade in the Journal.
