Tented is built with open-source software. This page credits the libraries whose authors ask for a visible credit, with each one’s copyright notice and license. Third-party notices covers everything else the app includes.

Where to find these notices

Open this page from Tented. Title bar → gear → Settings → About & updates → Open-source software → Licenses.

Read the notices offline. The installed app carries the same notices and full license texts in THIRD_PARTY_NOTICES.txt: in Tented.app/Contents/Resources on macOS, in the Tented install folder on Windows.

Tented also includes several hundred other open-source packages: the libraries behind the interface, the Rust crates in the app and in its connection to Interactive Brokers, and the Geist and Geist Mono typefaces. Third-party notices lists each one with its version and license, then the license texts and copyright notices its authors publish. The list is generated from the app’s build and checked before each release.
