Roll a trade

Tented does not roll a trade in one step. There is no separate Roll button; you model the roll as one scenario that holds both the closing legs and the new legs, so the order and the record show it as a single step.

  1. Open the trade and, in the trade builder, click Close on the Position row (or on a structure’s band). That adds a Close scenario holding the reversing legs (Close a trade).
  2. In the same scenario, click Add leg, or click the chain’s bid and ask, for the new legs.
  3. Rename the scenario (double-click its name), for example “Roll to Oct 23”, if you want that label in the record.
  4. Check the risk graph with the scenario ticked in Plot.
  5. Click Commit in the scenario footer and choose Save, Send or Save & send (Save, send or both).

The order goes out as one order at one net price (Lots and limit price).
