Parked orders

An order sent with Transmit unticked is held in TWS and the exchange has not seen it. The chip reads In TWS · not sent, the sidebar card carries the same words, and a Transmit button sits on the chip. It gives way to Update while a new price is staged.

1. Open the trade with the parked order.
2. Click Transmit on the chip.
3. Confirm “Transmit this order?”.

The order goes from TWS to the exchange at the price Tented shows. If you changed the order in TWS, transmit it in TWS instead; Tented does not read TWS edits back.

Parked orders and restarts

An order parked in TWS stays parked in Tented only while the same Tented run that parked it stays open, because TWS and Gateway never list a parked order. After you quit and reopen Tented, a parked order that TWS does not list is marked cancelled in Tented even if TWS still holds it. Transmit or cancel it in TWS.
