Connection settings

Settings → Connection sets how Tented reaches your broker’s quotes and orders. Clicking the connection chip in the title bar opens it.

Market data source: Interactive Brokers (TWS or IB Gateway) or thinkorswim (Windows only, with the thinkorswim desktop app running; its panel has one Connect button). The thinkorswim tile is disabled elsewhere and says “Windows only”.
Host (127.0.0.1), Port (7496), Client ID (99). Four tiles fill the usual ports: 7496 TWS live, 7497 TWS paper, 4001 Gateway live, 4002 Gateway paper. You can type any other.
Market data type: Real-time (default) or Delayed.
Line allowance: how many quotes IB lets you stream at once, 100 by default (a whole number from 100 to 10,000). IB allows 100 plus 100 for each quote booster pack. Tented assumes the number you type; it does not read it from IB.
Connect becomes Reconnect once connected. The result shows beside the button, and the lines in use are listed below.
