Clicking the chain adds no legs

What you see. You click in the chain and no leg appears in the Trade builder.

Why and what to do.

• You clicked the strike, not a Bid or Ask price. Click a price.
• The chain’s symbol is not the one you meant. Check the symbol button.
• A price shown as a dash has no quote and does nothing. Without a connection the chain shows “Not connected to Interactive Brokers”; see Waiting for IB.
