Supported products

Before you build a trade you want to know whether Tented lists the product, which contract it quotes and what one contract is worth a point. Quotes and chains come from Interactive Brokers (IB) through TWS or IB Gateway. Symbol search tags each result as Stock, Index or Future.

• Index options: SPX, XSP, RUT, NDX, DJX and VIX, with trading classes, SPX AM and PM series and VIX settlement.
• Stock and ETF options: any US stock or ETF with listed options, and which ETFs are priced on parity.
• Futures options: the nine roots, their point values, exchanges and routing.
• Market data you need: subscriptions, delayed data, the line allowance and the quote gaps around the open.

What Tented does not cover

• Futures options are limited to the nine roots in the futures list, and are not available with thinkorswim.
• VIX futures, and futures outside those nine roots, cannot be opened as an underlying.
• One quote source works at a time, to the host and port you set.
