An expired trade stays open

What you see. A trade whose options expired is still open, or a toast says “N expired trade(s) need settling”.

Why. Automatic settlement runs once per New York day, at the first connection that day. Tented was not connected on that day, or the close could not be fetched.

What to do. Settle it by hand: Journal → expand the trade → Settle expired legs → Settle. See Settle expired legs.
