Read the sync chip

The title bar shows a sync chip only when sync needs you. No chip means everything is in order.

Chip	Meaning	Click
Restoring journal	The journal is coming from Tented Cloud to this computer.	Nothing to do.
Sync paused	Tented Cloud can’t be reached. Changes wait here and go when it is back.	Tries now.
Sync failed	Sync stopped. The tooltip gives the reason.	Retries.
Choose a journal	Both sides hold a journal and you haven’t chosen.	Opens the choice.
Update to sync	Another computer runs a newer Tented that changed how the journal syncs.	Checks for updates.
N changes not synced	Tented Cloud refused those changes. They stay on this computer and are sent again when you edit them.	Nothing.

Tented retries a paused sync after 5 s, 15 s, a minute, then every 5 minutes. If the chip shows “Sync failed” and keeps failing, report it with the tooltip’s message.
