The limit price I typed moved

What you see. You typed a limit price in the Commit dialog and it changed.

Why. By design: IB rejects an option combo limit that is not a multiple of 0.05, so Tented snaps every price you set to the nearest 0.05 per unit.

What to do. Choose a price on the 0.05 grid. See Lots and limit price.
