Columns and settings

Chain settings control how many strikes you see and which columns sit around them. A narrow chain drops columns from the end of the list first.

Set the strikes. In Matrix, Chain settings → Strike step: Auto, 5, 10, 25 or 50. Auto keeps about two expected moves on screen, always including spot and your legs. The Legs toggle shows only strikes near your legs and spot. The crosshair button scrolls to spot, or to your nearest leg.

Choose columns. Chain settings → Columns shows Pos, Bid, Mid, Ask, IV, Δ, Vol and OI as a strip read outward from the strike.

  • Click a column to show or hide it.
  • Drag it (or press Alt with ← or →) to move it.
  • Reset restores the defaults (IV and Vol hidden).
  • Right-click the chain’s column header for the same checklist, plus Reset columns.

In a narrow chain, columns at the end of the list drop first (Pos, Bid, Ask and Δ stay). A ticked column with no room is hatched in the strip and tagged “no room” in the header menu. Larger text sizes take more width.

For Sides, see Show one side of the chain. For Layers, see Chain layers.
