Use a setup

Use builds the setup’s legs on today’s chain, with your strike rules applied to today’s price. Nothing is sent: the legs land in Scenario 1 for you to review.

Note

Scenario 1 must be empty. The strikes differ from your last trade by design, because Use applies your rules to today’s price and chain, not the old strikes.

1. Press New (⌘N) and choose the account.
2. On the draft’s empty risk graph, click Use on a row under “Your setups in account”.
3. The button shows a spinner while Tented waits for quotes, up to 30 seconds.
4. A toast says “name is in Scenario 1” (“Resolved against the live chain.”). Review and edit the legs, then commit as usual.

Each row’s second line names the months Use would trade today, then the rules, for example Oct 26 · 21 DTE · puts at 10 / 16 delta · 2 lots.

In a workspace with nothing modeled, the risk graph lists the setups for its symbol from every account, each tagged with its account. A setup on another symbol, listed under “Other symbols”, moves the draft to that symbol first.
