Link an account to IB

Imports match by Broker account ID, so set it on the Tented account before you import from TWS.

1. Title bar → gear → Settings → Accounts → the account → Broker account ID.
2. While Tented is connected, pick from the list IB reports. Otherwise choose Enter custom and type it (U1234567, or DU7654321 for paper).

Several Tented accounts can share one IB account. See Accounts.

Without a matching ID, Tented cannot offer missed executions on connect: No “IB: N executions are not in the journal” offer.
