An alert did not fire, or fired only once

An alert did not fire. Read its chip. Most alerts need quotes, so “Not watched · IB is disconnected” or “waiting for quotes” explains it. The trade must be open, not a draft. A trade holding stock or futures beside its options, or options on several underlyings, gets no quote-based alerts (DTE and time-of-day alerts still work). Tented has to be running: a closed Tented watches nothing.

It fired once and never again. By design: an alert re-arms only after its condition stops being true. Saving the plan re-arms all of the trade’s alerts.
