Duplicates and fixing an import

  • Import the same ONE file twice. Safe: trades are recognized by ONE account and trade number, marked Already imported and left unticked. An interrupted import is finished by running it again.
  • Import fills already in the journal. TWS executions linked earlier are not imported again, and a thinkorswim paste skips duplicates (“N imported; M duplicates skipped”).
  • A fill is wrong. Edit its price or fees in the Journal: Edit an action or fill.
  • A trade should not be there. Tick it in the Journal and click Delete: Delete actions and trades.
