The six headline figures

The top of the Performance tab shows six figures, each with a line of detail underneath, for the account and period you chose.

Figure	What it means
Net P&L	The total of the closed trades, with their count.
Win rate	Winners over all closed trades, with the number won, lost and even. A trade within one cent of zero counts as even.
Expectancy	Average P&L per trade.
Profit factor	Gross wins ÷ gross losses.
Max drawdown	The largest fall, and its dates.
Commissions	The fees paid on the trades in the period, as a share of gross wins (or per trade when no trade won). Shown whether or not Include commissions is on.

Expectancy

The average P&L of one trade: Net P&L divided by the number of closed trades. A positive number is what you expect each new trade to add if the future looks like the sample.

Profit factor

Gross wins divided by gross losses. Above 1.0 means the winners outweigh the losers in dollars. It shows a dash when there are no losing trades.

Max drawdown

The largest fall of the cumulative P&L from a high point, measured trade by trade. The curve starts at zero, so losing your first trade counts as a drawdown. The detail line names the dates it ran, from the peak to the bottom.
