Read an official document

An official release or filing that Tented has read opens in the pane’s reader, so you get the primary source next to the headline.

The reader shows an AI summary with key figures, then the full text with its headings, lists and tables. Open original shows the publisher’s page; Back or Esc returns to the list where you left it.

Tented summarizes government releases, SEC filings and company releases rated important, not every document.

The article window

Other pages, such as a news article or a calendar row’s source, open in a separate Tented window, not your browser. Its overlay has Open in browser and Close; Esc and ⌘W also close it.

If a document has no summary, or a release opens the publisher’s page instead of the reader, see No AI summary, or a release will not open in the reader.
