The status bar

The status bar shows app-wide state, never one view’s symbol or trade. Each item opens a small detail panel when you click it. Check it before you trade: amber items mean the numbers on screen may not be live.

On the left

  • Data warnings, only when data is not normal: Connection lost, Pre-open · held from a time, Delayed data, Frozen. See Delayed and frozen data.
  • Lines n/N: how many of your broker’s market-data lines are in use. It turns amber from 90% of the allowance. See Market-data lines.
  • Background work: working order, order waiting in TWS, and n conditions watching, the scenario conditions Tented checks while the app is open. Click one to see the trades involved and open them.

On the right

Section titled “On the right”
  • The next Important calendar event with a countdown. Click it for that day’s Important events and an Open Briefing button.
  • The stock market’s session with its countdown: Pre-market, Regular session, After hours or Market closed.
  • The clock. Click it to switch between your local time and New York time. Settings → General → Time zone (Local or New York) and Clock (24-hour or 12-hour) set the same thing.

If the clock shows a different time from the one you expect, click it to switch zones.
