Update Tented

Tented checks for a new version when it starts, every 30 minutes, and when you return to the window if the last check was more than 5 minutes ago. It downloads the update in the background and never restarts on its own.

  1. When an update is ready, an Update to x.y.z button appears in the title bar.
  2. Click it. Settings → About & updates opens, showing what the version brings.
  3. Click Restart to update. Tented closes and opens the new version.

To check by hand, open Settings → About & updates and click Check for updates. It reports “Tented is up to date.” when there is nothing new. The same page shows the installed version.
