Install Tented on a Mac

Tented is a desktop app, free during the beta. Install it once on each computer you trade from. For live quotes and orders it needs Interactive Brokers’ TWS or IB Gateway running on the same computer; see Connect to Interactive Brokers.

Note

Tented needs macOS 12 or later. One download runs on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

1. Download Tented.dmg from tented.app.
2. Open the disk image and drag Tented into Applications.
3. Open Tented from Applications, not from the disk image. Updates install only from the Applications copy.
4. Sign in and set up.
