Tented won't update

Restart to update is greyed out on a Mac, with “Move Tented to Applications and open it from there to install updates.” Tented is running from the disk image or another folder. Move it to Applications, open it from there and try again.

The Check for updates button is disabled and says only the installed app updates itself. You are running a development build. Install the released app.

“Could not check for updates”. Tented could not reach the update server. Check your internet connection and click Check for updates again.
