Missed executions

Every time Tented connects to IB, it settles what happened while it was away.

Orders Tented sent

Tented compares its stored working orders with IB’s open orders and the last 6 days of executions:

An order that filled gets its Fill detected card now (Confirm a fill).
An order IB no longer lists and that never executed is marked cancelled.
An order still working stays working.

This covers only orders this Tented install’s API connection sent, in accounts the session manages. A parked order that TWS does not list is marked cancelled after a restart (Parked orders).

Executions Tented never saw

Tented also checks the last 6 days of executions in your linked IB accounts for fills the journal does not hold: a manual TWS order, another application’s, or anything that filled while Tented was closed and does not belong to a stored order.

A toast reads “IB: N executions are not in the journal” with the account, the dates and up to three lines such as “Sell 2 SPX Oct 16 7600 P”.

Review in Import opens the import wizard on those executions.
Dismiss stops offering them.
The × only hides the toast until the next connect.

A trade you closed in TWS that is still open in Tented is resolved the same way: reconnect to IB and review the offered executions.
