Import trades

Your history does not start with Tented. You have years of trades in OptionNET Explorer (ONE), fills made in thinkorswim, and orders placed in TWS while Tented was closed. Importing brings them into the Journal, so Performance measures the whole record and your setups are learned from what you actually traded.

Every import is reviewed before anything is written, and skips what the Journal already holds. Orders you send from Tented are recorded when you confirm each fill and need no import (Trades view).

What traders do with it

  • Move your ONE history in on day one. Import the Detail Report during setup, then open Performance for years of statistics.
  • Keep ONE accounts that are strategies. Import each into its own Tented account, trading through the IB account you use.
  • Pick up a trade made in TWS while Tented was closed: link its executions to a new or an existing trade.
