About & updates settings

Settings → About & updates shows the build and manages updates and data sharing.

• Version: the installed build.
• Updates: Check for updates. When a new version is downloaded, its notes and Restart to update appear. Tented never restarts on its own. See Update Tented.
• Share usage data: on by default. It tells Tented which views and features you use, never your trades, symbols or amounts. With Tented Cloud on, turning it off follows your account to your other computers. With Your computers only, turn it off on each one.
• Legal: Terms and Privacy open in your browser.
• Open-source software: Licenses opens Open-source software.

Note

Restart to update is disabled on macOS until Tented runs from Applications: move it there and open it from there.
